Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, IL in June 1983.

DOCTOR OF MINISTRY DEGREE in Pastoral Ministry from
Lutheran School of Theology in "Pastoral Leadership and
Spiritual Gifts" in June 1993.

DOCTOR OF MINISTRY DEGREE IN CHRISTIAN EDUCATION from
Chicago Theological Seminary, Chicago, IL in "Adolescent
Male Maturation Processes: A Rite of Passage" in June
1997.

DOCTOR OF MINISTRY DEGREE IN PREACHING from McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, IL in May 2008.

The thesis project is "Preaching to Awaken the Hero in Young Adults: Service and Social Transformation."

Pastor Jackson is married to the former Onie Williams.
Pastor Rogers and Onie Jackson have four daughters.

Pastor Jackson was called to serve as Assistant Pastor of
the Emmanuel Baptist Church in August 1999 under the
leadership of the Rev. L. K. Curry. Upon retirement of
this monumental pastor in January 2003, Pastor Jackson
became the second pastor of the church.
